Types of Landscape Lights :
Bollards – Bollards are a freestanding light fixture which shines light in a 360 degree pattern. They come in various heights and sizes, and can be used to accentuate a pathway or on patios and decks.
Spots & Floods – These are the lights that sit close to the ground and have the ability to shine up on trees, bushes, house columns, or waterfalls. Spots and floods come in many different sizes to accommodate larger bulbs (with a wider, more powerful light). They usually feature a hood which directs the light in a certain direction, and they are fully adjustable. Larger floods utilizing HID or High Pressure Sodium bulbs are used to illuminate very large trees or large pieces of property.
Pathway Lights – Path lights are used to light walkways, pool areas, decks, patios, and stairs. They usually are not adjustable but throw a spread of light directly beneath and around their base. Path lights are the most commonly purchased landscape lighting we offer in a retail store setting. The typical spacing is 8’-12’ apart (consult the specific manufacturer).
In-ground junction box – Accepts 120v wire and sits in the ground with the mounting plate just slightly above ground-level. The light fixture screws into the top and the wiring connection is made inside the box for a water-resistant seal.
In-ground stake – Can be ordered for 120v or 12v applications. Gets placed securely into the ground. Light fixture is screwed into the top and the wiring connection is made inside the stake. Used with every 12v light fixture for ease of installation and flexibility.
