HowToBuyLighting.org is a community concept based on the desire to share the overwhelming amount of technical information regarding the world of lighting design. After many frustrating trips to the big-box stores with very little help being found we threw in the towel- then we got smart. Our goal is to help educate consumers about everything lighting, A thru Z. Face it,  whether you're doing a remodeling or have just moved into a new home - purchasing decisions are going to slow you down and frustrate you every step of the way. When we first attempted buying light fixtures for our new homes we had a really difficult time finding credible information, now with the help of REAL lighting designers we have put together an extremely helpful and up-to-date informational website on lighting.
